Overview

Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä was founded durring the late 16th century in fall of the year 1554, by Leopard Slugs Zacwafqehgbävle. The establishment of Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Leopard Slugs Zacwafqehgbävle electing to pay people to resettle in Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä.

Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä is buildings are speckled and packed arround restrictive flagstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. The town's exceptionaly well made fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

A look around Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä shows Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The town has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.

Cultural Notes

This may be a crisply-organized history of skilled native levies, or it may be a natural belligerence in the people that leaves them familiar with bloodshed. While their neighbors and liege doubtless respect their talents, this very aptitude might make them more willing to turn to steel than prudence would advise.

Ådehlÿ Vesch Yä's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.
